Supplemental Day Habilitation
The Supplemental Day Habilitation Program is a part-time service offering a variety of group and individual activities (based on a person's interests and life goals) in the late afternoon and early evening, on weekdays or Saturdays. Offered within our centers and the larger neighborhood, these activities offer participants life experiences to enhance independence and encourage their fuller participation in the community. This service is open to adults who live at home, in family care, supportive CRs, supportive IRAs, or on their own. Individuals who live in residential settings with 24-hour staffing may participate, with the costs paid by the residential provider. Psychological evaluations, psychotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, rehabilitation counseling, and nutrition services are available through our Article 16 Clinic.
We also offer the After-School Program, a component of the Supplemental Day Habilitation Program available to young adults with developmental disabilities who are aging out of the school system.
