Pure Vision Arts

Pure Vision Arts (PVA), an initiative of The Shield Institute, is New York City's premier studio and exhibition space for artists with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Housed in a 2,500-square-foot facility located in Chelsea, N.Y., PVA provides the following services:

  • excellent studio and gallery space
  • artistic instruction and exploration in a choice of media
  • high quality art materials
  • portfolio development and guidance from a professional and caring staff
  • professional representation providing artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work at   Pure Vision Arts and other galleries and venues
  • consultations with family members and/or advocates
  • individualized service for those in need of more specialized attention

The inspiring and visionary art that is being created at the Pure Vision Arts studio is changing lives every day. PVA is also a resource center for art collectors, curators and others interested in promotion, inclusion and accessibility in the arts for people with disabilities.
